Meet Rochelle

Television host/producer Rochelle Vayo Adkinson is the girl who shops Chicago trying to get the look for less on WGN’s “Bring it Home.”  Each week, Rochelle gets inspired with a peek inside the world of high-end home design. Then, she hits the streets of Chicago to go shopping and show viewers how to recreate that designer look for a much lower price.

Rochelle is a familiar face on Chicago’s WGN-TV as well as CLTV, having hosted the real estate series “HomesPlus” (2007-2009) as well as other various specials over the years.  But whether she’s trying to recreate a master retreat on a budget or whipping something up in the kitchen next to some of the world’s finest chefs, she brings years of experience in television production with her.

Prior to her work in Chicago, Rochelle spent five years as an award-winning producer and anchor at a local station in Miami, Florida where she covered everything from red carpet events to interviews with local government officials.

Originally from northeast Ohio, Rochelle earned a degree from the University of Miami in Broadcast Journalism. In addition to her regular work on WGN-TV, Rochelle continues to freelance as a host, producer and voice talent on various productions across the country.
